Bridgman is a city located in Berrien County in the U.S. state of Michigan. As of the 2000 census, the city had a total population of 2,428.
In the wake of the Columbine High School massacre on April 20, 1999, a series of threats to commit violence in local schools appeared. On May 26, 1999, the FBI traced an email message containing a threat to a Bridgman High School student, Albert Madejczyk, who was charged with extortion on June 7, 1999. According to the United States Census Bureau, the city has a total area of 7.6 km2 (2.9 mi2). 7.6 km2 (2.9 mi2) of it is land and none of it is covered by water.
